I spent 32 years of my life trapped in bondage to meth and alcohol, along with the life style that goes with it. I bought into the lie satan fed me, that getting loaded and living that lifestyle was fun and exciting and all it lead to was destruction. Drugs robbed me from my family, my job, my home, my marriage and almost my life. Any and every relationship I had, it was destroyed. Jn 10:10 says, “The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. I have come that they may have life abundantly.” After reaching the end of myself, I cried out to Jesus for help in my living room and he saved me.
My help came in the form of an arrest, after that I was so broken I was finally willing to surrender everything. I was facing 12 years and I thought, “ If it takes 12 years for You to change me, so that I never go back to my old lifestyle, Ill do it. Whatever it was going to take to change my life, I was willing to do. His will for my life became my will.

I began serving Him inside prison, allowing Him to take my heart of stone and turn it into a heart a flesh, Ez 36:26. While in prison I was give the U-Turn For Christ book, and I knew immediately it was where Jesus wanted me to go. “I ended up getting a four year sentence, but God blessed me and allowed me to be released after 2 years and 11 months. At my release I came directly to U-Turn For Christ and started my life. I landed on solid ground with like-minded women, seeking a deep personal relationship with Christ.

He gave me promises like Joel 2:25, that “He will restore all that the canker worm has eaten.” God is faithful, and He restored my relationship with my son. It’s been almost a year later and I am now currently the Overseer at the Women’s Ranch. I get to see the miracles of God everyday through the women here at the Ranch. God has more than answered my prayers and has given me a hope, a future, and a life. Haggai 2:9 says, “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former, saith the Lord.” I give all glory to Jesus and thank the ministry of U-Turn for Christ.
